I was at the eye doctor yesterday as I needed a new prescription for contacts and the 'doctor' prepped me for the eye exam by removing my contacts for me. After the exam he put new ones in - which in 30 years of going to an eye doctor I've never ever had the doctor actually touch my eyeballs.
I think he lingered.
I think my eyeballs have been fondled!
Have you ever had a doctor do this?
It was so very bizarre. _________________ <:3 )~~~

The post yile made me think you once agin ventured into Thievery.
Never had that happen myself- but I also prefer specs to contacts. _________________ Things are clearing now ... coming into focus .. .the fog is lifting ... shapes are forming .... ahh ... err ... make it unclear... MAKE IT UNLCEAR! |

Was he cute?
And, someone has to say it - you had it coming. Anyone who lets someone do that to them deserves it. Stand up for yourself and take your own damned contacts out! _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

When I first got contacts, the eye doctor tossed 'em in. It was kinda creepy, but at that point it was less creepy than me putting them in myself.
I don't get molested anymore, he just keeps telling me I'm a perfect candidate for laser correction. _________________ Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power. |

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday, got knocked out, and woke up with a gash in my side and my left nut feels like it was being punched.
My hernia is gone though, so I guess thats a plus.
This is my first time dealing with invasive surgery...its rather...painful.
Ok, sorry to derail the thread, but you were talking about being molested, so....yeah, I kinda feel like that. _________________ Stats and Badges (AOE)

Yikes, Garlisk -- hope that feels better soon. Invasive surgery sucks.
I had a fairly rushed appendectomy years back (hah, don't I sound old!), and while I was out of the hospital the next day, I was out of commission from the pain for about a week. I had Serious Painkillers, but didn't like the side effects, so I dropped 'em after a day.
I was also on a clear liquid diet, and it was the day before Thanksgiving. It sucked. But at least I can eat peanuts now. _________________ Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power. |

I found out I was diabetic two days before Thanksgiving. At least you knew what you could have! I stared at the table and thought to myself "OK, now which of these things is going to kill me?" Then I had the chocolate bread pudding with whiskey sauce for dessert anyway.
Berg, hope that gets better soon. It's GOT to be better than having a hernia, though, doesn't it? _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

Somehow the seriousness of me being molested has been lost in all of this -- yet I must admit now that I've met other victims of similar abuse I do feel much closer to all of you.
I guess what I'm saying is...may I touch your eyeballs? _________________ <:3 )~~~

My wife was misdiagnosed as haveing a slight kidney infection about 11 years ago. Turns out it was a cyst on her overies. by the time they figured it out they had to rush her in for emergency surgery. They opened her up and the cyst burst, spraying infection all over her intestines. 3 years of surgeries, about 17 different ones, they finallly got it all. Shes missing quite a bit of small intestines and still has problems from time to time, so yeah I think you could say she got molested.
She sued the doctor.. got a piddling amount of money for all the time and pain she went thru. This doctor is still practiceing medicine...... He's probably your doctor. ( your MD, not your eyedoctor) _________________ AKA Ghostly |

Actually, the Hernia didn't bother me at all. Ever. But supposedly it could have at any time. Plus, it was pretty damn unsightly.
Uhm...yeah, I don't think any of us are going to top that one Ghostly.
And Gerbs...I don't think "Smoke and Char" is good for eyeballs, so, no you can't touch mine. _________________ Stats and Badges (AOE)

Yeesh, no kidding. And thankfully.
Condolences to you and your wife, Ghostly. _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

Poor Mad Gerbil....no one even seemed to notice (it seems everyone has a story) that someone was touching your balls.. er I mean your "eye" balls..
Yeah, that is wierd. Can't say that anyone's ever touched me that way... _________________ Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking... |
