My dad and bro and I started in Chicago and went up through Madison and Rockford and all over Wisconsin looking for LaughingRat just so we could kick his butt - we couldn't find him though.
Actually, we took a weekend trip and ran out to the House on the Rock, a tourist trap there in the Wisconsin.
We drove all the way around Lake Michigan. _________________ <:3 )~~~

Seriously, though, you should have said you were coming. We could have had lunch or something.

We couldn't believe all of the cops in Wisconsin - they were EVERYWHERE!
I guess Wisconsin really, really, really takes speeding seriously.

Maybe one of these days we'll have to do that.
Have you been to the House on the Rock yet?
It is easily the oddest 'museum' I've been too.

No... we wouldn't go to Canada... that would be the Upper Penn. _________________ <:3 )~~~

Huh. I never noticed that Wisconsin has all that many state troopers out. Illinois seems worse in that regard (as well as just about every other way, as well).

Think I was there a long time ago. I'm not much for "touristy" things, anyway.
But hey, maybe we can get Grankipoo to take one of his rare vacations (the boy works way too much) and come out here then, too. There's a dark alleyw... err... some sights I'd love to show you two.
Hell, if nothing else, next time, if you don't have time to stop for lunch, just let me know what highway you'll be on and when you'll be passing through. I'd be only too happy to throw food at you as you go by.

You said you'd gone all the way around Lake Michigan. I'd forgotten we'd built that engineering monstrosity that connects the UP with the rest of Michigan. _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

Actually, I was refering to the Gerb there.
And yes- That is about Milwaukee. As I recall, I live about an hours drive east of you. _________________ Things are clearing now ... coming into focus .. .the fog is lifting ... shapes are forming .... ahh ... err ... make it unclear... MAKE IT UNLCEAR! |

That's just crazy talk. Why the HELL would state troopers be afraid of Gerb? I mean, as long as he's bathed recently....

It might have been a traumatic experience leading to selective amnesia. An experience like tracking him down and getting a picture of him- then threatening to reveal it to the world is a possibility. _________________ Things are clearing now ... coming into focus .. .the fog is lifting ... shapes are forming .... ahh ... err ... make it unclear... That's not senile, it's just... forgetful. Yeah. You know, professor-like.
And of COURSE I make fun of your for your age. You're older than me, and one of the few people around who is! _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

We'll have to take a road trip one day to find the Rat.
He'll be sitting in a park eating lunch and suddenly get whacked in the leg with a cane. _________________ <:3 )~~~

In the leg? You think Ghostly can lean over far enough to swing that low?
And do you think he can actually keep his feet without the use of his cane for that long? _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

You'll notice Mr. Senile, that I actually said I would smack you upside your head. Nowhere did I mention anything about whacking your leg. But now that you mention it, I think I'll smack you in the leg as well. That way you won't know what hurts more or what to grab as the pain will be coming from both spots. I think I will bring a crowbar for the whacking as I may need my cane for balance ....or something. _________________ AKA Ghostly |

Gerb mentioned me getting whacked in the leg, presumably by you, so I had to question whether he even thought that was possible, given your extremely advanced age and all.
I can just see you trying to carry a crowbar. The weight of the thing would cause your frail old body to tip over! _________________ If you will practice being fictional for a while, you will understand that fictional characters are sometimes more real than people with bodies and heartbeats. |

This all sounds great in theory LR, me being frail and all. You do know I'm a construction worker and can carry 24 foot extension ladders with one hand right? Sorta blows your perception of me to pieces doesn't it? Reality has a way of doing that. Rofl. _________________ AKA Ghostly |

Yes, house painter. Been doing it for 25 years now. Sorry to interrupt your daydream of me as a doddering old man. So, still interested in getting hit upside the head with a crowbar? Let me know. Happy to oblige. _________________ AKA Ghostly |
