The RLF and associates have taken to playing Diablo II recently. Threads about that have their own forum, which is private because we're tossing around IPs and the like. If you're playing and don't already have access -- or if you want to join us -- let me or Rat know.

I'd really like to hang with the folks here. I didn't have AOE, but I do happen to have D2 installed. :) Not sure how far along you are, but is there any chance I could join?

PM LaughingRat to get access to the Diablo II forum. I'd be delighted to have you join us, although you should be aware that we are using the LOD expansion.

We're somewhere in the second act. I think we recivered the staff of kings the last time we played.

Firetiger's been added. We vary from level 22 to 24, I think, and we've gotten as far as getting the Cube and the Staff, but not the headpiece yet.

It's a Skaarj that was transplanted to the '04 tournament from Unreal, the original Unreal Franchise game. You can see a better picture in this screenie. The actual skaarj have more in common with insects or reptiles than rodents. They start life as pupae and grow into either warriors or soldiers. There are varying ranks/classes of each breed as well as some rarer breeds like the warlord and queen.
